HarborWalk Village is saying, “Laissez Les bons temps rouler” (let the good times roll!) this February with the return of the annual Mardi Gras Celebration! The Mardi Gras Celebration is a great family-friendly event for everyone to enjoy and take part in.
Join us on Saturday, February 26th from 2:00-5:30pm at HarborWalk Village. Visitors, locals, and families alike can expect nothing less than fun times when our authentic New Orleans Mardi Gras floats make their first appearance of the year! The floats have become a staple and tradition that all visitors easily recognize. They will be lit up as they make their way through the crowds, and you’ll notice some even have their own music playlist to accompany their path. Guests will have the opportunity to catch dozens of beads as the parade rolls through at 4:00pm. With live music by Fais Do-Do in the background, you’re sure to feel a piece of the New Orleans spirit!
We also have a special experience for families that really want to take their Mardi Gras celebration to the next level! Float packages are available for groups of up to 8 people. You heard us right, you can ride on one of our floats during the actual parade! This special package includes face painting for the krewe, hundreds of beads to throw, and a cooler with sponsored beverages, waters, and Coke products. Fill out your application to secure your float!
In addition to the Saturday festivities, PAWdi Gras will be taking place the following day, Sunday, February 27th at 3:30pm. Bring your furry friends in their best purple, gold, and green attire for a pet costume contest! Owners will have the chance to walk their 4-legged friend across the Main Stage as they are judged. Registration for this event begins at 3:00pm.
