Winter Fun at HarborWalk Village in Destin, Florida
Shake off the winter blues at HarborWalk Village during the month of January. The Winter Concert Series returns this weekend with a line-up of local artists. Enjoy live music every Sunday, January 14-Febuary 18, from 2:00-4:00pm on the HarborWalk stage.
February brings a weekend long Mardi Gras celebration. Festivities begin with a Mardi Gras Pub Crawl on Friday, February 9, 2018 benefiting Alaqua Animal Refuge. On Saturday, the 10th Annual HarborWalk Village Mardi Gras Parade rolls through the street with dazzling floats, colorful costume and beads galore. This event is free to attend and businesses and organizations within the community are invited to participate. The celebration ends with a Mardi PAWS competition on Tuesday, February 13, also benefiting Alaqua Animal Refuge. Free red beans and rice will be available and the 2nd Annual Mardi PAWS costume contest will be featured on the main stage.

The Emerald Coast Parrot Head Chili Cook-Off will delight taste buds on February 24th. End the month with a day of spiced and spirited competition as chefs from near and far don their aprons for the title of Best Chili. Local restaurants and amateurs are welcome to participate. Proceeds from this event benefit ARC of the Emerald Coast.
