HarborWalk Village’s Oktoberfest Supports EOD Warrior Foundation
HarborWalk Village at Emerald Grande’s First Annual Oktoberfest and charity pub crawl channeled the iconic German festival celebrating community, rich foods, and most importantly – Oktoberfest style brews.
Proceeds from the pub crawl armband sales directly benefited EOD Warrior Foundation raising $2,126.84 to support their mission to help EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal) warriors and their family members with financial relief, college scholarships, hope and wellness programs, and to provide care for the EOD Memorial Wall located at Eglin AFB, FL.
“We appreciate HarborWalk’s continued dedication and support for those who serve our country and communities and are grateful to have EOD Warrior Foundation chosen as a beneficiary for this year’s event”, says Melissa Tackitt, EOD Memorial Care and Event Coordinator.
The event continued on Saturday with the main Oktoberfest food and drink experience complete with mini beer steins, tastings of authentic German-style beer, and themed food vendors throughout HarborWalk Village.
This event and pub crawl will return in 2018.
