Emerald Grande at HarborWalk Village COVID-19 Updates

Our highest priority is the safety, health and welfare of our Owners, Guests, and Associates.

We continue to closely monitor guidance and directives given by the Federal government, Governor DeSantis’ office, the Florida Department of Health (DOH), and the U.S. Center for Disease Control (CDC) as they pertain to COVID-19.

Along with implementing guidelines set-forth by the organizations mentioned above, we have also adjusted and elevated our day-to-day operations to ‘The Grande Standard’ in an effort to keep our Owners, Guests and Associates safe.

Emerald Grande Frequently Asked Questions pertaining to COVID-19

Associate Training & Screening

All Emerald Grande Associates are required to attend a COVID-19 sanitation and safety training. Upon daily arrival to work, all Associates are screened for temperature and symptoms. Associates with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher are immediately sent home.

Updated Policies & Procedures

We are committed to providing exemplary guest service and memorable experiences; and over the last few weeks we have implemented a comprehensive cleaning plan and social distancing protocols throughout the property.

Guest Arrival & Check-In/ Check-Out:

To ensure that our Associates have ample time to clean and sanitize units between guest occupancy, we will not be accepting early check-ins or allowing late check-outs at this time. Check-In begins at 4:00 PM and Check-Out is at 10:00 AM.

Upon arrival, the Emerald Grande bell staff will greet Guests and assist with unloading luggage. Bellmen will not be opening car doors and touching door handles at this time. Guest luggage will be sanitized prior to delivery to the Guest unit and bell carts will be sanitized after each Guest is assisted.

Luggage will be delivered to the door of the unit. Bellmen will not enter units.

The Front Desk is equipped with glass partitions, and we have implemented procedures to reduce touch points during the check-in process. We ask that Guests adhere to social distancing recommendations while waiting to check-in.

Sanitizing Guest Rooms & Housekeeping Services:

All Associates entering a unit will wear a mask. All Guest units will be cleaned and sanitized using EPA-approved ECOLAB products. All high touch point areas including remotes, light switches, door handles, and thermostats will go through a disinfecting process.

All concierge books have been removed from units.

Sanitizing Elevators & Common Areas:

Sanitizer stations are available in elevator lobbies and in all common areas. Elevators and high touch areas will be cleaned with a disinfectant throughout the day.

Grande Vista Bar & Grill:

Grande Vista Bar & Grill is currently serving a limited menu for breakfast and lunch only. Seating is set at 50% capacity and parties of ten or more may not sit at one table.

Restaurant surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized between Guest occupancy.

Pool Deck:

Only Emerald Grande Owners and Guests are permitted to utilize the pool deck.

Our pool loungers and outdoor seating will be spaced according to social distancing standards; and will go through a disinfecting process between each Guest use.

A maximum of ten Guests will be allowed to utilize the hot tub at one time. We ask that Guests not gather in groups of ten or more.

Beach Shuttle & Beach Services:

The Emerald Grande Beach Shuttle and Private Beach are only accessible by Owners and Guests of the Emerald Grande.

Social distancing guidelines will be followed while waiting to board the Beach Shuttle. Hand sanitizer and wipes are available for Guest use while on the shuttle. The shuttle will be sanitized between each trip.

Beach chairs and umbrellas will be spaced according to social distancing guidelines. Each set-up will be sanitized at the beginning and end of the day and between each Guest use. We ask Guests to please not gather in parties of ten or more.

 The Spa at the Emerald Grande:

The Spa at the Emerald Grande is open for all services. The steam rooms and lounges are closed.

Spa Associates will wear a mask throughout the treatment.

Treatments are by appointment only. Please call 850-337-8150 to make a reservation.

Fitness & Business Centers:

Please practice social distancing when utilizing the Fitness & Business Centers. Both facilities are equipped with sanitizing wipes, and we ask that you please sanitize your workspace and equipment after each use.

Our staff has increased the frequency of sanitation and cleaning of both areas. Current Fitness Center hours are 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
